Diabetes Qualified is a subsidiary of Diabetes NSW & ACT, Australia’s largest member-based charity for people living with or at risk of diabetes. Diabetes NSW & ACT has been supporting people with diabetes, their families, carers and friends since 1938.
We provide accessible and engaging diabetes education and resources for health professionals. We recognise that face to face training does not suit everyone, so have developed online eLearning programs to provide you with increased knowledge and understanding of diabetes. Our objective is to support delivery of consistent, relevant and actionable support to the person living with diabetes. Our online programs have been developed by credentialled diabetes educators and health professionals that work with people living with diabetes every week.
We have a range of CPD accredited courses for health professionals, our Diabetes in Practice courses are specific to professions such as nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists and allied health. We also have Diabetes Essentials which is suitable for any health professional wanting to increase their technical knowledge of diabetes. If you are an Aged Care or Disability Support Provider, we have online training options for your healthcare workers. The Provider Training solution gives you the ability to purchase multiple courses, unlimited annual access or an eLearning package. Talk to us on 1300 727 194 or firstname.lastname@example.org
