Professor Grant Brinkworth, PhD, MBA, is a Senior Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO – Health and Biosecurity. Grant has a PhD in Nutrition and Exercise Science and more than 20 years’ experience leading large-scale clinical trials and multidisciplinary research teams evaluating the effects of diets, foods, exercise therapies, digital technologies, and lifestyle interventions on human health, and physical and mental performance and function in healthy and clinical populations.

Dr Pennie Taylor is a Senior Research Dietitian and Experimental Scientist for CSIRO – Health & Biosecurity. Pennie’s diverse experience at CSIRO includes significant contribution in large and complex clinical and community trails that explore the influence of dietary patterns and dietary composition on health outcomes. Knowledge areas include weight management (including nutrition and metabolic weight loss surgery), metabolic health, chronic disease including type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
