Safely injecting insulin course
Essential training for disability and aged care workers
This training provides your staff with essential skills in monitoring glucose and injecting insulin, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the needs of clients with diabetes.
About the course
The Safely injecting insulin in a care environment course is designed for support workers. It teaches them how to safely inject insulin, building on the foundational knowledge from the Practical Diabetes for Disability Support Workers and Practical Diabetes for Aged Care Workers courses.
Please note: This is not an accredited vocational course. Instead, it is designed as a skills-focused training program to provide care and support workers with the practical knowledge and confidence to safely perform these tasks within their workplace.
