The following outlines the terms and conditions of Diabetes Qualified membership.
By joining as a Diabetes Qualified member and completing the payment on the website or via the helpline, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Diabetes Qualified membership subscription .
To become a member you must provide a payment method by Visa, Mastercard or AMEX credit or debit card and you authorize us to charge the Payment Method associated to your account.
Your subscription of $15.00 AUD will automatically renew via recurring credit card payment every 3 months. Your Subscription automatically continues until cancelled in accordance with the ‘Cancellation’ clause.
It is your responsibility to have sufficient funds available in your nominated account by the due date when payments are to be drawn. We may reattempt unsuccessful direct debits or contact you seeking instructions. Any dishonour fees incurred against your account by your financial institution are your responsibility.
You can update your Payment Method by calling the Diabetes Qualified helpline on 1300 727 194. Following any update, you authorize us to continue to charge the applicable Payment Method.
Currency listed on the Diabetes Qualified Australia website and currency of transaction is in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.
You can cancel your Diabetes Qualified membership at any time, and you will continue to have access to the membership benefits through to the end of your billing period. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial membership periods. To cancel you will need to call our helpline or send an email and your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period.
Only the named Member or person authorised in writing by the named Member may request a change in membership details.
All Members are issued with a unique membership number. In circumstances where you are unable to remember your membership number, please contact the Diabetes Qualified Helpline on 1300 727 194.
Diabetes Qualified Members do not have the right to vote in Board Elections and at the Annual General meeting of Diabetes NSW & ACT or Diabetes QLD.
