Community Diabetes Delivered Locally

Diabetes NSW & ACT can help you deliver diabetes education in your local area. Community Diabetes is a 3 hour face to face workshop for people who are newly diagnosed or at risk of type 2 diabetes. During this workshop, participants will learn about the small lifestyle changes that can lead to big health improvements and empower them to take action to prevent diabetes or diabetes related complications.Workshop size is for up to 20 participants, including partners, a carer or support person. The program has been translated into Mandarin, Cantonese and Arabic. Talk to us about other languages you may need.

There are two options for delivery:

(a) Facilitation

Our trained Health Care Professionals: Credentialed Diabetes Educators, Accredited Practising Dietitians or Accredited Exercise Physiologists will facilitate the program and you handle the logistics.

Investment:
• $3,000 per program
• $2,750 per program for 10+

(b) Full Delivery

Outsource the entire program delivery to us, and free your team from the administration of program logistics which are time consuming but essential to the successful delivery of a workshop. At Diabetes NSW & ACT we are highly experienced in full program delivery.

Investment:
• $5,000 per program
• $4,500 per program for 10+
