We are looking for qualified trainers to deliver Beat It, an evidenced-based group exercise and lifestyle program. The aim of the program is to achieve behavioural-change through educating, supporting and empowering individuals to reduce risk factors and increase positive health outcomes. These programs may attract National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) funding.
Currently we have vacancies for Beat it Trainers in the following locations:
- Western NSW
- Western Sydney
- Hunter New England

Not a qualified Beat It Trainer yet?
No worries! Diabetes Qualified has an eLearning program called Beat It Trainer. The eLearning program is open to:
- Exercise Physiologists
- Certificate IV Qualified Personal Trainers
- Exercise Scientists
- Physiotherapists

What is the Beat It Trainer eLearning program?
The Beat It program provides the skills and knowledge you need to deliver safe and effective exercise classes for people living with, or at risk of diabetes and other lifestyle-related chronic disease. The program is in two parts:
- Part 1: Diabetes & Exercise online course (12 hours of eLearning done at your own pace)
- Part 2: Beat It Trainer Face-to-Face training (1 day from 9am to 5pm)
Once you complete the training and become a Beat It Trainer, we will provide you with all the support and resources you need to support your clients and grow your business. You will have the option of delivering the program privately, or, subject to certain criteria and NDSS funding, on behalf of Diabetes NSW&ACT and Diabetes QLD.
Beat It Trainer has been accredited for 19 total CPD points by ESSA and AUSactive (Fitness Australia) CEC’s part 1 =10 and part 2 = 8
